ABSTRACT

This paper reports on highthroughput and highvolume manufacturing of thinfilm, CdS/CdTebased photovoltaic modules at First Solar enabling clean, affordable solar electricity. These sustainable and costeffective energy solutions are provided by using abundant solar resources in concert with comprehensive, prefunded endoflife collection and recycling programs.
